IASSIDD (International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) is the first and only world-wide group dedicated to the scientific study of intellectual disability.

Following the international IASSIDD congress in Melbourne, we have been able to secure from Canada the expertise of Dr Roy Brown, a clinical and educational psychologist and Professor Emeritus at the University of Calgary, and his colleague Dr Nancy Jokinen Assoc Professor at the School of Social work, University of Northern British Columbia. Both are established authors, presenters and have over 20 years of experience in quality living issues in people with DS.
